You're making a very good point here... It's actually easy to work in IT by freelancing, hell some people will even just ask you to do stuff for them (and then you tell them your rates) if they notice you're the 'nerdy person'. It's easier than getting IT position at a company and they won't give you an employment contract anyway. Literally some people here you could say they already work in security in their own businesses because they for example circumvent security at Trust Pilot to post fake reviews, bot Youtube views (so attacking the algorithm, literally), people have these proxy farms, etc. They already work in IT, IT security even

.
But yeah, if someone really struggles with the business part of it and just wants to work in IT getting a software dev 'job' (you won't get an employment contract and they'll call you to come back to work 24/7) might be a good idea. But remember that these 'jobs' have their quirks, are in very limited supply for senior or specialized positions (less security and sysadmin positions available than more general software development) and your pay might be not as high as you'd like as a junior dev (do these positions even exist nowadays with AI?

). Also forget about having life after work if you work in a software house. Also true about high expectations during recruitment, like
@polecat said.
But yeah, I personally care about entrepreneurship and don't care about working in IT

. I'd rather switch the niche than get a job

.
Again, it's like
@polecat can't join the police for health reasons. Serving in armed forces is my dream job. I have a deep passion for killing people

. But it's unrealistic, I won't get that for health reasons. So I had to accept that I will never have a job that I like, I'll never be happy at work and it'll be for earning money only. I have a problem with being a civilian basically

. Someones' dream job is mine 'fuck, I'm behind the desk'

. Being disabled sucks.
