Do you keep in contact with people you used to work with?

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day who keeps in contact with all her old coworkers. She says they're her friends but I've not really been one to see people I work with as friends.

Sure I guess I get on with them but once I leave a workplace I just stop talking to them entirely. Nobody bothers reaching out so I figured that's what they want.

Maybe it's just me but how you do you feel about keep in touch with old coworkers?

I did with some but not all normally they make interest me, keep chatting to me, normally I forget them and move on

Not much, as work going on, life move to another way which is unexpected. So many of your friends were not in touch with you.. just rare.. My 20 years old frnd from same work still we in touch but not on daily basis but when we talk just like daily we are in touch, talking like an old frnd.. nothing change.

A few. It depends on what kind of connection you had with them. Usually, once you leave a job, the primary connection fades, but it takes more than a job to develop a real friendship.

Yup... @GoldenGlovez and myself made millions together being the first to introduce SAPE to the English SEO world close to 15 years ago now, we still keep in touch, it's mad the bond you can make with someone online you work with and click with... have never met the man in person (almost did in Spain a few years back but something came up on my end) but would trust him more than a lot of people I know offline!

Another guy (won't mention his name as he isn't a member) has been with me since day 1 of SerpLogic (10 years in November past), we've only met in person once even though he's Irish! He lives in London though with his wife, we met when I was over there buying a car a few years back.
