Does anyone here play video games? Curious to hear what you all are gaming?

Sometimes i like to play to old retro games I used to grow up with. Settlers 4, Need for Speed, etc. - Todays gaming market is good, but it's filled with microtransactions and Pay-To-Win strategies, which makes it very unenjoyable for me.

Yes, Video Games are Life when childhood days..

During School holidays, we spend our days completely on playing Videos Games that connects to TV - will play with the Joystick..

Games such as Mario, Contra, street fighter, donkey Kong, so on.. well almost all 90's Video Games I played.

Later, as we grew up, Not finds time or interests to play Video Games.. But used to encourage kids to play games instead of wasting time on watching reels on phone..

What made you stop playing, out of curiosity?

I've played a lot of video games over the years. I started when I was about 6 years old, I think? I liked dress-up games at first, and played things like Barbie as Rapunzel for the PC and Barbie: Fashion Designer.

I remember one day playing a game my parents had been playing at the time, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and was happy to see that you could dress your character up AND make them fight monsters and go on adventures! And that's how I got into RPGs. But I also like a lot of other genres too, like survival games, puzzle-solvers and other types.

But used to encourage kids to play games instead of wasting time on watching reels on phone..

I've always thought that playing games is way more productive than doom-scrolling on social media sites. A lot of people think that video games are mindless and bad for you (I suppose they technically can be, depending on the game) but I've found video games have always been a great way to do something active and engaging while relaxing.

Whenever I visit my hometown, I play FIFA on PlayStation with my friends for hours every day. It's like a reset for me.

There was nothing else for me to do. I had max stats ( 99, not 200m exp), apart from summoning. Quest cape, fire cape.
Pk'ing was also not that interesting anymore, since I would be risking way more than the ragers, and wildy was mostly dead by the time I stopped. But world pk was fun, I was mostly in Fally

I used to PK sometimes. My first kill was some guy named "Bballboy". I chase that guy through the wilderness for 30 minutes; for some reason, he kept running further in and saying, "pls stop" and "dont kill me".

My account is maxed as well. I was working on getting the completionist cape before I quit the game. Unfortunately, Jagex got extra greedy and I was tired of everything being so focused on microtransactions. I still miss the game, but I don't think I can go back to it until its better managed.

My wife @Impulse played it as well. She's also maxed and is really close to getting the comp cape.

Oh, I just realised we were talking about Runescape 3 and you were talking about 2. Sorry, because RS2 was what it looked like when I created my account, I keep forgetting they separated the games.

I mean, we played RS2 as well, just not as often. It was kind of fun playing things as they were.

But yeah, I saw they released sailing recently.

I recently got back to OSRS, I'm having a huge fun with it.
Obviously lost my 2012 account, but got up to speed pretty fast.

Nostalgia. I play this game for the exact reason I play Diablo 1 & 2.

I had a typo in my previous comment, it wasn't a 2012 account but an account from around 2002.

Now that I look this up it seems like the game I'm referring to was launched in 2004, so I have no idea when I started playing. I only know that it was a loooong time ago.
