Do you play video games?

Nostalgia. I play this game for the exact reason I play Diablo 1 & 2.

I had a typo in my previous comment, it wasn't a 2012 account but an account from around 2002.

Now that I look this up it seems like the game I'm referring to was launched in 2004, so I have no idea when I started playing. I only know that it was a loooong time ago.

most of the time, i cannot play Nostalgic games for more than 30minutes considering since the game is usually soooooooooo much more different nowadays (like RS for example)
i rather just leave it in my happy memories.

I don't really have the mental capacity to play new games in the last few years.
It's not that I didn't I just didn't enjoy them as much as I enjoy replaying stuff. My last game was GOW5.

what's your appeal in that game?

I liked the questing system and humor in the game.

I also really liked having a game character that kind of grew along with me. Getting my account to where it was at was a long term goal for myself, so it was nice to be able to take a break and just resume my progress in a game that was difficult to cheat in.

I recently got back to OSRS, I'm having a huge fun with it.
Obviously lost my 2012 account, but got up to speed pretty fast.
Didn't by membership yet, but it's on my list of things to do as soon as I have a slow month..

Nice, since it is for nostalgia sake just play like you did back then.


People these days just bond up, do Witches house, Cammy and Waterfall and tree gnome for some early level 40s combat stats.
But personally that really ruins the game imo, I remember the first time I could adamant as a f2p, or spending hours chopping Willow in Draynor village

What made you stop playing, out of curiosity?

just a time issue. once you get older it feels like a waste of time.
