Do you put referral links in your posts about companies/services?

Are you smart?

I'm just thinking this end, about the companies I've been shouting out for long times;

I get people messaging me about stuff say twice a month on the other forum, I wonder how many of those would have converted into a sign-up or a sale...
I wonder how often the posts are seen, and I wonder how things will change over time now, too

Na, I never do that, looks cheap, but thats just me, never care either if someone sends me one, good for him making a dollar or two.

I'd say you could've genuinely set up a side-income by now

get back and get editing links handsome

Not generally. I did once on one of my YouTube channels recently for a product on Amazon, but it was only because some people were asking about the product in a video I posted. Other than that, I generally avoid it because, as @Dopious says, it looks cheap.

I do this sometimes lets say I am planning a new computer I will ask my friend for their affiliate link and buy through them one time a friend got paid £200 commission from my sale

I thought putting referral links was not an OK thing to do on a forum?

Here it is ok if you post 2 links, one without and the second as affiliate link so people can chose.

When i mention a company it's mostly because they are genuinely good. Adding a referral links defeats the purpose. Lot of times i just sometimes refer some of the clients to my competition if I know for sure I won't be able handle or do justice.

But on my money sites when I do affiliate marketing or CPA i pick high paying offers from the network that I have no relationship with. It's just random. I don't even use those services.

So I keep my business serperate and don't mix that with my personal shout outs/reviews.

No, I never do that. Just send them directly more than often it's not really worth to add your affiliate link anyway.
