Do you use QR codes in your campaigns?

Years ago I remember people saying how much of a bust QR codes were but lately I see they've been making more of a comeback especially in the fast food sector.

QR codes are stupid so no lol. It works for some businesses but not for what I do.

I do, but I'm phasing them out in favor of NFC.

I work a lot in the home services industry, so I asked clients to use a contact saving QR codes to improve client retention (repeat jobs). Went up by 250%..

I don't expect NFC chips to improve that, but they'll probably make it a bit classier.

I used to be anti them because I never really grasped the point... however we have used them in a recent off line marketing campaign and there has been a fair bit of use (actually been surprised) of the codes being scanned!

It's also flexible because you can redirect them however you want after they've beed distributed.

I used them on my business cards back in 2013, but nobody ever actually scanned them from what I could see in my analytics.

I was against them myself at one point, but in recent years, the ability to scan QR codes is now built into the camera apps that come with the phones. Previously, you needed to download a third-party QR scanner app, which just made them annoying to scan since I don't like having too many apps on my phone.

People still use QR codes? Didn't know that. They aren't really around where I live so I just forgot those existed.
