I've been trying to ignore these kinds of videos I've been getting bombarded with for months now, but at this point I have to ask, as someone who know's nothing about the US other than it used to be represent the gold standard of what it means to have a 'good life' if it's as badas these kinds of videos seems to suggest. Look more like scenes straight form South Africa or something sometimes -

Not necessarily... They had poverty, illiteracy, hard access to food, etc before. I guess it depends on location, you have poorer and good neighbourhoods.

It does look like it's collapsing and we all are heading into WW3, I'm assuming that's why people that own anything mass buy physical gold and forex xausd chart is going crazy @t0mmy .

I live in what I'll describe as an uppity area in California. Even here, we're seeing a lot of people living in their cars and streets as prices are just skyrocketing for everything.

We're even seeing our neighbours cut back on non-essentials. We can't go out now without seeing dozens of police cars, and we're seeing a lot of what seem like arbitrary arrests. People are also very unpleasant to be around; just very aggressive and on edge all the time. This isn't something we've seen here at any point before.

Weird things the UK is quite obsessed with the
US and yet not a single news outlet, even the BBC don't ever breathe a word of the kind of stuff that's happening regarding ICE and so on. IF we get new it will be about some random isolated nonsense not some systemic dismantling of entire infrastructures.

Most of the updates I get come from subscribing to subreddits like https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/ I'm trying not to fall in to the trap of being 'card stacked' here seeing as how reddit is predominantly left leaning from what I've seen, so try not to let it paint the entire picture and take what I see with a pinch of salt, but still this is an insane amount of fed raids and such things going on essentially daily from what I can gather.

Seems there are some massive global changes happening. UK too is becoming increasingly americanised, prominent rights wing parties are cozying up to the republicans. And the Government itself has just signed a multi-billionaire dollar deal with Palantir recently for a defence contract!
