Resolved Emails from the forum arrive very late

Not sure if it's a feature or a bug, but I received the email about the welcome PM from Z just an hour ago, even though the PM itself was sent 10 hours ago.

Generally, emails are being sent very late but this is the best example I have.

I believe this is still an ongoing issue with SendGrid hitting limits

Better late than never, it's both a feature and a cliche.
It could be a limit per 24 hous, and the moving window releases email on FIFO basis.

Yeah, it's because we're using SendGrid's free plan.

I think we're at that point where we can upgrade it, but we are working with a tight budget on this at the moment.

I'll update this thread once we've upgraded our plan.

Quick update: SMTP service has been updated but it looks like we're still getting some delays. It's being worked on - will update once we've isolated the issue.

In the meantime, if anyone that has had a big delay can send me a PM with the email header details, what the notification was and the approx delay, I'll be able to dig into some specifics.

Thanks for your patience - there was a slight glitch with SG but I've tested it and it *should* be resolved now.

With that said, I'll mark the thread as resolved but if you get any further occurrences, please reply here and we'll reopen the issue!
