This is an example of what a listing looks like here in The Trading Post.

As you can see, we have fields at the top of each thread so buyers can see a quick summary of your listing. These are fields are required for every listing.

However, you can also add this information into your thread contents.

Beginning of Your Thread: Introduction​

Use the primary editor here to add in a sales graphic or provide an introduction to your product or service.

Outside of our basic requirements in the rules and our TOS, traders are free to write their listing however they please. Therefore, if you want to say you're the best or the most impressive link builder on the planet, you certainly can. However, we simply advise against this because this won't help you stand out if everybody is saying it.

Additionally, you want to avoid overloading your customer with filler, especially in your introduction. "We are absolutely premium

Body of Your Thread​

Many traders like to use this opportunity to showcase their packages. Some like to put their packages side-by-side so that customers can see the benefits and pricings of each one.

If you're feeling a little, I've even seen sellers on other platforms put comparisons between themselves and their competitors in the body of their listing. Just ensure that you're accurately representing both your packages and your competitor's packages.

End of Your Thread: Calls-To-Action​

This is not a requirement, although we do recommend placing calls-to-action (CTA) at the end of your listing. Again, not a hard-and-fast rule, and if your own market research suggest that CTAs only at the end or even in the middle of your listing work, then feel free to do that.

These are meant to be done once every 24 hours at most.

In these promotional bumps, you can respond to customer inquiries, add coupon codes, or add samples.

If you want to go a step further, you can use the "charge" BBcode that's part of our credits system to put samples or coupon codes behind a "paywall" where you receive the credits people pay to view it. Just remember that credits cannot be exchanged for real money.
