Never got to visit India, I wanted to do one visa run there at least but everyone discouraged me so much with the filth and mass rapes (like... 7 guys and they cut you open after and leave your insides outside) that I just won't visit it seems. First couple minutes of this vid I see it's very crowded too, Sri Lanka has smaller population and everyone is living in houses lol except Colombo maybe. Like, you know, there are some similarities, but huge differences too, people forget these are 2 different countries and it's an island country at that so it's very chill vibe and music and everyone's friendly and smiling until they all realize they were lazy all this time but they need money so they'll try to scam you, the white ATM out of everything you own to solve the problem . Like, you know - after they scam you they can go back to partying, it's literally that . Damn islanders .

Very happy to see/hear this... Basically an ad . I think she's malaysian, no? Everyone is growing out their hair or what? I grow mine too. I wanted to go to the hairdresser and get mine cut suuuper short before a trip so it'd take a while to grow out. But I realized they got really thick and pretty after that rosemary spray thingy I'm using . So I think I'll pack a hair tie instead . Oooh, I think I own fast fashion version of one of her necklaces, hmmm. It's there... Somewhere... On the ground floor. Lol.

I've been to India a few times. It's cliche but the first time I went, I went out of the hotel to a local bazar just down below in Jaipur and I immediately stepped in a pile of cow shit, right in the middle of the street. I didn't see that coming lol

I would say you're probably more correct than incorrect imho. One exception is Goa, lots and lots of foreigners so you shouldn't feel like you stand out like a sore thumb or anything or get grabbed by any creepy and weird locals for selfies like you're from mars lol.
South side is pricey but north side can be affordable and a good place to live and work in the longer term if you stay sober and keep away from the rowdier crowds. The Goan locals can be aggressive at times, and if you get in to any argument or fight with one they'll suddenly crawl out of the wood works to defend their brethren - although that's mostly aimed at Indian tourists from outside Goa rather than foreigners.

Also the pace of life is pretty chill, perhaps a little too chill for some. Not really for company men like in many other states.

Ladakh is nice too, but probably not to stay and work on the grounds it's freezing and there's f all to do lol.
