Ha! I can tell someone actually made a report about this if you had to change the rule about it. I really hope it was just someone joking around. If not, they are way too trigger-happy with the report button.
Nobody actually reported it, thankfully. I just saw the title and realised that our rules were pretty vague on non-English content.Ha! C'est la vie
I assume the rules are not meant to be enforced on terms that are known to most like 'a la', 'cest la vie' or 'hakuna matata' from Swahili.Ha! Or even just one-off phrases. In the update I made to the rule today, I made sure to mention that it's discussions in other languages that are prohibited. You know, that way if someone wants to say Здравствуйте to a Russian member who joins and posts a newcomer's thread as an example, there's no issue with that.I assume the rules are not meant to be enforced on terms that are known to most like 'a la', 'cest la vie' or 'hakuna matata' from Swahili.
That was my point as well. I thought someone reported your post because they were too sensitive to the "English-only" rule. If someone actually did it, it would have been quite ridiculous.I assume the rules are not meant to be enforced on terms that are known to most like 'a la', 'cest la vie' or 'hakuna matata' from Swahili.
Oooh, I googled, it seems to be dumplings? Looks like from a restaurant
Google say Dumpling, but in reality it's closet to pasta.Oooh, I googled, it seems to be dumplings? Looks like from a restaurant.
