Google has changed its G logo for the first time in ten years

Google has updated its G logo for the first time in nearly a decade. The G logo appears here and there across the company's products and materials, in places where the larger Google logo wouldn't fit. Two examples are the Google app icon and the icon in the search widget on mobile.

Guaranteed it was an internal job and they just fuddled some funding around the place for 'tax'

Some higher up charged it but 100% a jr done the work.

Sometimes in order to get the work you have to charge an insane amount because companies and people just don't see the worth nor believe you can deliver it for such a small amount.

I learnt this lesson the hard way after losing out on some bids with big corporate clients we started to add an extra 0 to the end and it's surprising how many people are willing to then pay.

Its daft the way things like that work out sometimes.

Add another zero... Yes please, I'd love to get more high ticket clients, not sure if I even want to deal with these tiny tiny clients anymore... It's just expectations, expectations and I don't even feel like I want to have a conversation, let alone do the service for the amounts they pay . How to switch to these bigger clients, though .

How to switch? Say yes and figure our how to do stuff later.


You need to change your marketing style, learn to communicate with larger corporations and scale up from there. All depends on the industry you are in really, how you are perceived is one of the bigger challenges, it can be little things.
