You’re definitely different. I remember my “ma” (mum) as we say in Ireland roaring at me “Thomas stop eating that or you’ll get worms!!” when I was a kid for eating the raw mince as she was cooking, strange but as a kid I remember it tasted good..

I wouldn’t be trying it now, I think she might have been on to something about them worms.. be careful on that raw.

Nope, you get one, you're done for. Thankfully it's extremely rare in most cases and pigs seem to be quite resistant to them. Never realized how much I was rolling the dice with those late night sheeps brain hotpots when I was living out in China though, apparently a pretty common vector.

Funny that, here’s me trying to actively avoid pork the past year or so now since I read up on how bad it is for contaminations of all sorts, crazy how deep that rabbit hole goes actually.. weaved into religions and all sorts.
