I'm actually a little sketchy if this is actually netmoney, myself and him were very close back in the day... he was like a mentor of sorts to me, I'm surprised to see him in this position if it is him. He also never actively sold (not much anyway) on the other forum.

If that is you mate - what was the "ghost's" name? it started with an N... I'll know instantly if it's you and if it is you you'll know instantly what I'm talking about. I'll reach out if it is you in a heart beat.

Last time we spoke around 3 years back you had given up on IM and moved on to NFTs, I know they're long gone now but someone like netmoney with the brains he had would just shock me to see opening a thread like this, then again anything can happen.

Getting a job when you're already businessperson for a while. *sighs* It's not that simple when they already know you're entrepreneurial, they know you'll leave as soon as you have the occassion and you're not a slave material. You're not the best candidate for them even if you have skills / experience. + Jobs pay less so that doesn't solve financial problems. I think it normally works like this: 1. Someone has jobs and climbs the ladder some 2. Upgrades to being an independent specialist / something more business-y / multiple clients like @roydan
Then it works well because he can take his experience and contacts from work, it doesn't work well the other way around. I mean, I tried lol. They'll rather pick someone with less experience but that can give his/her whole time and attention to the company, rather than someone they *know* will hustle in his spare time and leave the company.

Getting a job doesn't mean it has to be something that's chasing the corporate ladder. Stacking shelves, Warehouse worker, whatever. Getting a job is never simple, that's why if the OP has a time window where things become a "problem" it's best to start looking now.

End of the day the OP has a family that needs to come first. No point sitting there for 2 months looking for a new forum. That's the reality of it.

Maybe it's OK to just skip town and move and do other shit when it's just your self. He has a fixed life, bills, commitments and a young family.

The reality is he offers something extremely niche. If he can't find other locations to market or doesn't know of them already then the business has no growth. No offence either to the OP but id not even call it a business id just say it's a well paid job.

Either needs to just go back and make BHW or maybe now is the time to switch things up and do something else.

By the way... not for one second am I being cheeky here, however the netmoney I knew had the BEST contacts in the industry and was a huge part of SerpLogic's original success. If it is you bro I apologise and would love to catch up/work on something if possible. I just have this funny feeling (if it's you you'll know how I get) that something is off here.

The netmoney I remember didn't ask for help - he went out and took what he wanted through his epic contacts and serious skill set. He never needed forums at all!

Also he never sold the services the OP mentioned, at least not when I knew and spoke with him multiple times per day.

His account on the other forum hasn't made a post since 2018...

I am not sure what kind of business you are in, but in order to get new clients in a matter of 2 months, you would most likely have to try something that gives immediate results. So, paid advertising via Facebook Ads might be worth a try if you are willing to put in some money.

Pro of cold calling is that it's FREEEE.

Could easily offer a local SEO/ORM package for local small business and use ai.

Literally all you'd have to do is make a subreddit and post "Is (brand name) The Best (niche) In (town).

Copy and paste their about section, link to their website and in 3 days it'll be up.

(Depending on town/city size but ranking for their name is easy AF).

Yeah, forums are fine (as you said, you have a specific niche in mind and these people use forums) but it's best to get your own traffic from fb groups / other social media, seo, paid ads. You can have a sales thread at the same time, provider I sometimes resell from (in addition to my own services) has a bhw thread but they also rank in google and have retargeting ads on gads. I actually knew they exist from somewhere else than bhw lol. It's not good to base everything only on 1 forum or platform. Like @polecat said facebook has everyone right now. I hate this site but yeah... It has normies but it also has smma kids, hackers, spammers, carders ripping people off in the fb marketplace. And tbh normies that I target usually act more blackhat than what's allowed at bhw. I'm thinking it's online sunday school at this point... If mainstream small business owners are more blackhat than 'blackhat' forum you know something's wrong.

I regret that I clicked 'show ignored content'. Apparently t2van thinks single people don't have bills to pay lol. It's sooo derogatory to single people, I just can't even. I also have bills to pay and was in this situation and looked for a job at the same time while freelancing and the thing is, if you actually have some experience with freelancing you'll get new clients faster than you'll get a job.

So yeah, I did 'lower myself' and looked for 9 to 5 but each time I was faster at getting new clients (and convinced them to pay upfront) than getting a job (jesus, why recruitment takes so long and has so many steps...) and most employers didn't want me because they preferred someone that has 0 entreprenerial experience. They know you'll leave the job, they want someone more, uhm, loyal because for them it's a loss to train you and then you leave and they'll need to go through recruitment all over again. So in a way I don't blame them even, but it sucks when you're businessy type but you have trouble (and yes, bills to pay and food to buy) and you *can't* even go back. You can't go backwards because nobody will take you in.

Warehouse... I mean, if he's healthy and not disabled since birth like me then why not, he can do that, it doesn't pay that well so idk if it solves his financial problems or not. While we're at it, why won't he just join the army... I surely would do that if I weren't so fuckin sick. I went to army recruitment event before I left the country, it still hurts my heart that I'm too sick to join, most of my family members served, it is a disgrace that I didn't.

Me being single and childless... You know. I'm a non-drinker, low body count, etc, etc so my current freedom is a result of my previous regulated lifestyle. You bang and get a woman pregnant (or you get pregnant) you have responsibilities lol. It's like... I didn't party and lived a virtuous life so now as a result me being 'broke' means crying about visas while staying at 20-smth floor in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore's (nr 1 passport worldwide) neighbour. I have no C-section scar so I can wear bikinis all I want, I still have all teeth (women often loose some during pregnancy), I can wake up when I want, go to sleep when I want, I can focus on myself. Yeppp, lovin' it. NOT looking to start a family. Some younger, hot guy would be nice but if not then not, it's not the end of the world. But kids? Hell no.

It's like @t0mmy said, businessperson would just change to another business or modify current one. Hell, even my small business clients, some have 1 business, some have 2-3 and it's fine too, you don't need to do one thing.

I think the same, joining the army is very smart if I was not type 1 diabetic, I would have joined as a kid easily.

In US i don't know which job will be better to get survive, you can try on MacDonalds, pizza hut as a delivery boy.. May be that would be help you and keep working on your online work while picking some time for your work too. It will take time but you'll do it one day. Keep trying with other ways until you'll get good clients. In both ways you'll keep in touch with your work and earn money to pay bills and other stuffs too.

Yes getting clients is SOO Much faster than getting a job. If that was the case he wouldn't be here asking for help and why 95% of people in business fail.
