sorry not sorry if I screenshotted your BST
but man if your BST titled something stupid, have you ever questioned your life choices after reading that
I have for you.

Can't we just be nice and simple
to the point like what @LuxRiches has done?

Trading Post threads will undergo a thorough test before being published on the public forum. Names like you've shown above are totally useless and are just there to catch attention, but they do not bring any value or understanding as to what is actually being sold. While the rules around that are still being made, I can assure you that we will most likely not allow these types of titles.

Maybe only allow a couple emojis at best as well.

We don't want whatever fuckery this is:

Pro tip: Using more emojis doesn't improve your shitty copy.

One or two, sure.

@LuxRiches looks amazing.

If More emojis like Red Giant,
MOD Should remind him or should Not allow to use more emojis in thread Titles at OO..

I second this,

No Spiderman PBN, Wonder woman's Best AI generative images titles please. Just be on point, without being clickbaitey ( I know titles increases CTR but they are mostly distracting).
Just a simple Who, what, Price
Like the example below:

Someone's feet admirer services $$$

Who: Someone
What: Feet admirer services
Price: $$$
(Optional: Limited availability )

Replies, reviews would matter more rather than titles.

Okay, I for sure agree with this, but this is another one of those things where I'm trying to figure out how to balance being mostly hands-off and not dictating how someone tries to sell with rules and guidelines.

One thing I am fine with doing is putting restrictions on using brand names in the titles and sales copies. I implemented this after a user created some accounts with brand names. I let him keep the names of the accounts he made as he was just having fun roleplaying, but I did put restrictions in to prevent people from signing up as "Facebook Account Seller" or something.

To prevent our marketplace from becoming... that, I can add the same thing in and cite that there are issues with potential secondary liability with Safe Harbour provisions. Something I'm doing with the rules here is putting why they're there.

Here's what I added to The Trading Post rules:
You may not use brand names, celebrity names, or other copyrighted or trademarked material in your thread titles or sales copy in a promotional or misleading way.
  • Permitted exceptions include neutral, factual use such as “Instagram accounts for sale.”
  • This rule exists to reduce the risk of secondary liability under Safe Harbour provisions.
If you can think of anything else to prohibit, I'm all ears.

I hope your ear still works after this :)

No celebrity names or likenesses for promotional gain.
  • Example of what NOT to write: "Elon Musk DODGE Social Service"
I'm sure I don't need a picture lol. Someone's BST already came to your mind :)

False, Exaggerated, or Unverifiable Claims
  • Avoid hype-driven or unverifiable language.
  • Eaxmples Not To Have Phrases:
    • "Guaranteed #1 Ranking,"
    • "Instant 10x Sales,"
    • "Get Rich Fast"
  • Replace with measurable or evidence-based results if applicable.
  • I'll go even as far as x DAY TaT.

This actually breaks multiple things I am saying lol

Vague, Clickbait, or Misleading Titles
  • No titles that disguise the true nature of the offer.
  • Eaxmples Not To Have:
    • "This Changed My Life - Find Out How"
    • "Virgins hate this one trick - Find Out Here"
    • "Beat your competition with this"

Deceptive Use of Metrics or Data
  • I seen BST base on 1 person results, could be from a decade ago aswell.
  • IM is constantly changing, that 1 result your service may or may not have done, may not work anymore or the solution for the client.

Fake Scarcity or Urgency Basically FOMO
  • I seen these aswell LIMITED SPOTS etc
  • I cannot confirm if they REALLY did have only x spots but I actually never seen those BST gets locked or such due to "slots full". It does create FOMO
  • On the other hand, I have seen transparent sellers who do post on their BST saying no slots left. However, that also could be FOMO to encourge "hype" & "you miss out, when i re-open, don't miss out this time

Infinite Promotions
  • This is one of my most hated ones
  • F your 50% off, if your 50% off is always 50% off then it's not 50% off at all.
  • I don't think I need to go into detail for this.
477-2025-04-10-03-30-PM-Clipboard-d.png

Unsolicited Claiming of Exclusivity or Authority
  • Best PBN etc
  • There are BSTs out there that promote themselves are #1

hmm that's all i can think of for now :)
