Bentley unveils "biggest change" to logo in 100-year history.

What do you think, is it time to buy a new one?

Nah Bently never been my thing.

Both Bently and Rolls Royce are insane though.

I mean they want people paying say $500,000 for a high end luxury EV.

If I was dropping that on a car I wouldn't give a flying fuck what it cost to fill up or about the planet as id be buying carbon credits anyway to use my jet.

Their transition to all electric is a brand disaster waiting to happen.

I have not looked in to their electric transition, myself I like the Konishegg hybrid solutions, but then again those cars go for $3-$5M not cheap as $500K

Yeah who wants to spend that and then worry about saving the planet.

Soon as I go on my 8 week trip to America I'm bringing back a truck, getting it restored and putting an engine that does no more than 15mpg

I actually wanted to buy a Bentley a few years back, wanted a brand new Continental GT Convertible and emailed them to see about getting a test drive somewhere out here in Spain.

All they wanted to do was offer me finance, despite me telling them I'd be a cash buyer.

Annoying as fuck really, because at the time I had that spare money doing nothing. I shared the original emails with a couple of guys on the other forum, as I really did like the look of this car and fancied treating myself.

Maybe, but the Konishegg hybrid solutions leaves the gas cars in the mirror, electric power is cool.

Don't get me wrong I've been in some high end EVs and the instant power is amazing.

It's not for me though.

Only because the gov tells me I need one. As I've always said I always do opposite of what the gov says as it's not in my best interest. So petrol and diesel for me and no fucking ad blue either.

That is just old grumpy mentality, fck what everyone incl. government says and do stuff you like regardless, don`t be grumpy. Do you use condoms too?

Maybe it’s just me, but the new logo kind of looks like something you’d see on a toy car.

I’ve heard of that happening on a car forum I used to browse. I think the guy said that some of the high end dealerships really push you to finance and stop you from buying it with cash.

Then if you want to pay those loans off early, they punish you for that by charging you “early pay off fees” or some nonsense.

That's true I heard from a few friends who used to sell cars they want you pay for finance to get extra commission for why they do it.
