YouTube how can I see all comments made by a YT account?

Hi,

basically title!

I found a comment on a YT channel (that I follow) that was made by a certain someone, and I'd like to find ALL of the comments that that certain someone had made EVERYWHERE else on YT, but I don't know how to do this.

Is there a (free) way of achieving this?

By the way, I forgot to mention that I'm NOT logged into YT anymore (haven't been logged in for months now), so probably that's why I can't see those comments? I don't know...

Try to use search operators in Google. Use the exact match one to search for their YouTube handle. Like say it’s Derek858. Search this in Google:

“Derek858” site:YouTube.com

You use also try ChatGPT to search the user handle to see what videos they commented on.

the google trick only returned the name of his YT account, nothing else...

And I don't use AI (I despise that thing with passion, I'd rather die poor and miserable than ever touching that crap... or cryptos...)

it only works with individual videos, but the account whose comments I need to pull are posted on dozens (maybe 100s) of videos, so I don't think this will work

Thanks for the suggestion, though! I've bookmarked this thing, just in case that they improve it in the future and they'll add this functionality in...

it forces me to enter a video URL, which is not what I'm looking for. I need to find all of the comments left by someone across the entire YT...

That's about all your going to get really. The API doesn't allow or offer any kind of query that allows a full search and display of all comments ever posted.

You are limited to:

- all comments left on a specific video
- all comments left on your own channel
- comments left a user made on your own channel

No way to run a search across the entire platform.
