How Do You Feel About Using Chatbots as a Shopper?

I was watching a news segment right now where they said 14% of online shoppers don't like chatbots. This is supposedly down from 35% over a year ago.

I don't know about anyone else, but I was surprised to see this. Even with machine learning, I find that chatbots often can't provide me with the solutions I'm looking for. Nearly every time I use them, I end up getting connected to a human agent. I can't say I know of anyone who does like using chatbots.

Don't get me wrong, I would prefer using them more if they worked better and properly understood my questions, but that hasn't happened yet.

What's everyone else's experiences with using chatbots as an online shopper?

Chatbots as an online shopper or in other places are something I don’t really like : D
Not because I can’t use... I mean they can still be helpful in some situations but mostly because by the time I reach a chatbox, I’ve already tried every possible way to solve the issue on my own

So whenever I hit the chatbox my mindset is already set on getting a human involved to help me out.
Most of what a chatbot recommends is usually something I’ve already found and tried and it didn’t solve my issue.

At that point, I just want a human to step in and help get things resolved quickly

I don't like it too, it justs scrape responses from article pages, and many times recommend articles to read.

I prefer human agents

When AI raise the bar on non-human conversation, most chatbots are way behind and I can definitely see why users don't like them.

if it gets me to where the fuck i want
and give me info on the product more than what usually the desc has
than i have no issues with it
if it doesn't i simply don't use.

There needs to be an option for I hate them.

Too many of them don't even have an option to connect you to an agent. The ones that do let you talk to a person are OK I guess tho.
