There’s a fine line between persistence and edging & straight-up self-torture.
Staying in the wrong job, project, degree, business, or relationship because you “already invested so much” can turn into a slow, painful drag where you’re basically emotionally raw-dogging life for no real payoff.

If you lost this job, project, degree, or whatever today, would you actively try to get it back? Or would you take it as a sign from God and move the fuck on?

There’s also a difference between "I dont want to do this anymore", “this is hard”, "this is beyond me" and straight up "fuck it".

When do you just give up your projects?

I seen so many people say don't give up, keep grinding, but is it really worth it?

as a skill gap issue ?
or as a
this thing wont be sustainable issue ?
Not so much skill just not being possible.

I wanted to be police man but I am not allowed to because I am type 1 diabetic, so can't weather I have the skill or not

that is assuming you ain't overestimating yourself too though
which is pretty much impossible for alot of people.

I can walk miles easily without needing a break. I can pretty easy carry someone my height or taller without much effort.

Do you know about an Aussie celebrity who some people claim me and him act alike not sure on his name, just know he was pretty famous before he got married?

When it stops being fun for a while. Every job has periods where it’s not enjoyable and feels draining all day, every day. But if your personal life starts to suffer because of it, then it’s time to move on and find something else. Frankly, it’s not worth wasting your life on a miserable job.

When I quit my last job I knew it was time because of my boss who is now my fiancee (fuck yeah!) told me the CEO was doing.

When you're working for a psychopathic guy like that you just know you've got to get the F out of there! I quit when I couldn't deny he was crazy and nobody wants to be on a ship with a crazy captain haha!

I use a similar approach when hiring.

If I've put off a job more than 3 times it shows I dont have the time to do that job or dont have the skill and it's time to hire.

Some jobs just suck but need to be done (like painting skirting / baseboards)

But if I pick up a project, drop and restart more than twice it's time to move on. Let it go or pass the idea onto someone else.

If I lose a project or something I generally go OK. Move on.

If something is taken away from me or told I can no longer do it because of XYZ ill do my best to prove that person wrong and go about doing it anyway.

You quit when you get a buncha fuckin warnings from the boatman if you know what I mean lmao
I know lots of people have problems with him and I kinda understand why but my experiences with him were good.

I did get a warning from him once but when I asked for info on it he was pretty nice to me and told me what I did wrong. He even lifted the warning early cause he could see it was a accident.

The he helped me out alot when I couldn't pass my Market place review. He messaged me and told me exactly what I needed to do to get it through and said I was in good hands cause Dany who runs the Market place is a smart gal who knows what she's doing.

Maybe it's unpopular opinion but idk I don't think he's all bad.

OK we are all entitled to our opinions about people but 'libelous accusations' comes under rule 1.2. Please keep this in mind next time you want to complain about someone on here.

Yeah you know something I don't think I know when to quit. I just keep going and going with projects until I get bored of them.

It works well enough you know it's not like I'm broke but I think if I didn't have extra income and had to rely on projects I'd be in trouble lol

I didn't know you could get warnings lifted early like that by the mod directly. I always just got sent to support if I asked a question and the DM got closed. No problem with that just didn't know mods didn't have to close the DM and could lift warnings like that.

Is Dany that marketplace admin mod echo? I've had friends on TG saying they haven't been getting any sales from their bsts for like a year. Not that smart of a gal if the marketplace is in shambles if you ask me.

Yes that mod! I also had a good experience with the echo mod and other marketplace mod after BTB shared MP info on what I needed to do to pass the review.

I can like being on both forums for these reasons.
