How hard is selling a website?

Offered one of my sites on motion invest and got shamefull offer… They really know a math thatbis working for them lol…


L12 months earnings abiut $900, from adsense + monumetric…

They calculations are just adsense L6months $341… and both combined earnings are about $865 L6 months…

So their offer was $9500 and fee after selling 20%…

They said they can only count 1 monezation. And ofc they used less one and even that one they didnt calculate properly lol…


Offered it on some facebook groups but all are time wasters…

Only left me to try the flippa… But not sure about process there and how long it takes as i want to sell it before my marrige thats happening in less then 30 days but ofc i am not planing to sell it bellow the worth of the site…


Have any suggestions for me?

I need a quick and easy sale lol…

Sadly in life there are idotic buyers for most goods and services. Some think if you're selling, you need to sell, so offer crazy low amounts.

If you think it is worth $XXX then hold on for that amount.

Nothing is quick and easy. They already offered you the "quick" version of the sale, which you don't seem to understand. Quick doesn't = Premium.

Thing to remember, there are idiot buyers and idiot sellers, both never help each other.

20% fee? That's a ripoff, start to research other methods of getting it on the market

There are likely no quality buyers on Flippa

I rather will not sell it then getting $7500 after the fee that i will get back in 7-8 months

I’ve had a few experiences selling websites (as have some of my clients), and I can say that properly valuing a website/online business depends on many factors. It’s not just about applying a 12x or 24x multiplier to the monthly profit. There are other important considerations, such as:

- The amount of work required to maintain the website
- The level of automation (daily tasks, email campaigns, etc.)
- Monetization methods (e.g. selling subscriptions or products is usually valued higher than relying on Google Ads, depending on the niche)

If you want to ensure you’re getting the best possible price, you need to get a proper valuation.
