If you joined Office Outlaw and you're wondering how you can submit a listing to our Trading Post, then keep reading as we'll go over exactly what you need to become a trader here.

First and foremost, be sure to read the rules of our Trading Post in order to understand our review process and to see if your service is a good fit for our Trading Post. Additionally, understand that we do not simply approve any and every service; we have a strict review process, and if your service is not as advertised or has unacceptable quality issues, it will not be approved.

Why Would You Want To Submit a Listing Here?
We won't hide the fact that our forum is still growing as that's obvious to anyone. However, if you'd like to submit a listing here whilst we're still building this up, here are the current benefits of it:
  • Our review process is very thorough, meaning we only allow products and services after confirming they're of a very reasonable quality.
  • Our staff only leave detailed reviews to inform your customers about our experience with you.
  • One-time listing fees: after approval, you only pay once; there are no yearly renewals so long as your sales listing continues receiving at least 1 post a month.
  • Service-specific fees: Our listing fees are based on the complexity and risk of your listing. That means for something we deem as simple to test, you'll pay less than someone who submits a very complicated service.
  • If your service is not approved, we do not keep anything you sent us.
  • We have an official giveaway thread where we give away what we receive and mention your listing, giving you more exposure and us a chance to give back to the community.
Pre-requisites to Submitting a Sales Listing
  • Sapphire Status. The upgrade will only appear on the upgrades page once your accounts meeting the following requirements:

We opted to use the star system rather than post count to discourage others from simply getting an aged account and spamming posts on our platform. This is a community first and foremost, and we only want engaged members of our community to sell on our platform.

Submitting a Sales Listing
Once you've read our rules and have Sapphire Status, head on over to the most appropriate section and submit your listing.

Note that there are some required fields you must fill out when you submit your listing, and you can see an example of those fields in this example listing.

Section 3: Review Process
The review process is fairly simple but individualised to some extent as we like to get to know both you and your service in order to provide a more detailed review.
  1. You submit your sales listing, which into our approval queue.
  2. A staff member will send you a message with details of the review process. You'll also be sent a few questions asking you about your service and what you feel makes it unique. In the same message, you'll be informed of how much the listing will cost and what's expected from you. Depending on the packages you offer, we may even offer you an alternative review process if the only difference between your packages is the amount of something being offered.
  3. After this brief conversation, you can send the reviewing moderator any questions or requests.
  4. Once we send what you need to start the delivery of your product or service, we wait on you to fulfill your end. Be aware that we take note of everything you send us and your conduct throughout the review process.
  5. When you deliver your product or service, the reviewing staff member will then looking over everything to ensure that's as advertised and up to the standards we expect from services here.
Be aware that no service is guaranteed approval. If your service is not approved, you may take back anything you sent us. In the case of something like a link building service, you can optionally remove any links you created for us.

Once a user purchased sapphire membership, they are automatically eligible for renewal?

Is it possible theoretically the requirements rise faster than a user is gaining trophies to a point where they're a sapphire member and unable to renew?

The way it's set up right now, it's not a subscription as this means people can't pay with their debit or credit cards or would need a PayPal account. I could set up an automatic renewal version later, though.

It's possible, but they'd have to really not engage on the forum for a year. Even still, you can also get trophies for just having an aged account, although not very many.

The maximum requirements we're looking at implementing are 4 stars, but I haven't worked out the final account age requirement just yet. Right now, the requirements are 2 stars and 1 week on the forum just because it's still a very new forum and the people joining right now are not malicious. When we do start raising the requirements, we'll do it a bit a time just to give others time to catch up.
 
I really want to grow something here, can't wait to get a move on.
