We all know that old trick where you get a free trial, but you have to remember to cancel it before they charge your card.

The worst part is when the companies try charging your card way earlier than they said they would, like what happened to me in my finance protection guide.

Well today, I have another short guide for everyone on getting those free trials on Apple apps without having to worry about cancelling.

This one was something I discovered accidentally, but I activated a free trial with Wyze that went through, much to my surprise. I checked my Apple account to see what card I had attached to it, and it was a card I had deactivated last year. The details on the card would suggest that it's not expired, but it looks like Apple doesn't send a test charge to confirm that it works.

So, if you ever have any deactivated cards on your Apple account, don't remove them. Just keep them on there and you can claim free trials.

Just know that this doesn't really work if you do use Apple subscriptions for anything. Not unless you want to constantly remove your real cards and leave a deactivated one on there just to get some free trials.
