What is the first thing you react to (positively or negatively) when you see a company's visual identity for the first time on their website?

What do you think creates action/reaction from that perspective?

Has to be consistent branding and message.

Anything pride or that sort of thing I turn off against. Not because I got a problem with it. Just a company isn't supposed to care or be political it's a business it has no say.

It's when owners personal stance waters down the company I just ignore.

Yeah GMB does that as well,

Woman- owned
Veteran - owned

I personally think
people should disconnect the fact that
CEO or top board members of company's represent the company entirely.
thus meaning
Identity does not = branding
Company should have it's own personal Identity & branding

Example
If Elon supports Russia
That doesn't mean Telsa supports Russia.

not sure if that's the direction you were asking lol

I don't mind to much care about results for when I deal with them.

For example TESCO will not win any brand awards for how it looks but people know it around the world.

I like Acer because they are cheap and good quality when I see Acer not like wow brand so cool it's let buy it.

Only thing negative if I see any anti ferret stuff going on or if I find out they don't like tikka don't buy or give them money.

Yeah exactly.

It shouldn't matter what Elon likes or does.

The company is it's own thing. The company can't have a view or stance on something in my opioion as it's not "real" it can't vote, or come and kill you so it shouldn't have any views or political take either.

That's my biggest turn off as a customer.

and each time i read the "customers" bitching about a board member of company x's opinion/take on xyz
and bitching saying that the company now is doomed
i really wanna just burn the fucking world

Cannot have said it better
