Five years ago, knowing SEO was a huge advantage.

Today, it seems like everyone is talking about AI.

But here's the question:

Are we witnessing the biggest business opportunity of our generation, or the biggest bubble?

Every day I see people claiming they made money using AI tools for:

  • Content creation
  • Programming
  • Marketing
  • Lead generation
  • Customer support
  • Automation
At the same time, I see others saying AI is overhyped and that most AI-generated businesses eventually fail.

What fascinates me is that both sides have evidence.

Some freelancers have doubled their income because AI makes them more productive.

Others complain that AI has flooded the market and reduced the value of skills that once commanded high rates.

So I'm curious...

  1. Has AI made you more money or less money?
  2. What is the most profitable way you've personally used AI?
  3. What AI business model do you think will still exist 5 years from now?
  4. If someone had $0 and wanted to start today, what would you tell them to focus on?
I'll start:

I believe AI won't replace people who know how to solve problems. It will replace people who only know how to perform repetitive tasks.

The real opportunity isn't using AI.

The real opportunity is knowing what to do with it.

What's your experience?

1. No difference for me.

2. Programmed a Meow assistant that imitates my favorite adult streamer that blocked me for excessive sharing.

It's not commercial, so profit is only mental.

3. Programming AI robots. It doesn't exist yet. Also, personal brand by which I mean, your personality, can't be replaced with AI and there's no point in replacing your skin... heart... etc. Nobody wants to replace personalities unless it's some niche case.

4. Fck being polite! Put all you have, all creative expression into building an audience. That's with $0 which is exactly my budget. I only reinvest what I earn, nothing more.

I used to try to be a freelancer. But it didn't make sense to my brain why would you do random stuff for random people for money. That was something I am confused with up to this day.

Never tried freelancing with outsourcing as a business. I don't like how cold it feels to talk to strangers.who want custom services from you. Too much fight or flight and soft skill.

I had no mercy towards my failure in freelancing. I switched to microinfluencing and building around YouTube. YouTube is insanely huge these days. Top 1 site in the world.

I feel like it’s harmed me equally as much as it’s helped.

The best way I’ve used it is by getting quick summaries of competitors and helping me with business decisions.

All of them seem like they’d exist 5 years from now.

I’d tell them to focus on getting knowledge first. These ai models are great for that but you also have to know how to sift through inaccurate info.

Welcome.

If that was your advantage 5 years ago you are already way behind the curve.

From the outside it's a bubble.

Opportunities if you go looking or asking you already missed and passed them.

More.
  1. What is the most profitable way you've personally used AI?

Reduce overheads and staff dependancies and move to automating tasks which in the longer term saves time and money.

  1. What AI business model do you think will still exist 5 years from now?
I don't understand.

AI run businesses or AI businesses that create or do things with AI

I think the biggest factor with AI is who "wins"

  1. If someone had $0 and wanted to start today, what would you tell them to focus on?

Need some kind of money to start making money. IF it's truly from ZERO then it has to be scrapping stuff you can find, trade up on something free to something of value and build up.

I think the days or "truly" starting from zero are long gone, if you got nothing you shouldn't technically have access to a computer either.

If you start from zero, is this about someone homeless?

If you're homeless, you need to ask government or family for help.

Then find a job.

That's what I did. Today I'm retired at 28 years old because money flows to me like in a magical fairytale. :)

I spent 10 years grinding on and off, only to spend everything on very expensive things. They were useful, fun but completely unnecessary. It would be more fun to have more money right now. Now I earn money as a retired person.

AI is definitly huge and a gamechanger for the world, there was massadoption in the 90`s off Internet, Google in 1998 made the other searchengines cry, then came crypto in 2008, and now AI. i just loved to follow this in the latest 32 years on Internet and see the big leaps.

Will be nice to follow the next 32 years of development if I am lucky to live that long.
