Is it bad to still work when you’re on holiday?

I don’t take holidays as often as I should. I mean everyone needs a break from work every now and then.

But when I do go on holiday, I still find myself popping up open my laptop and checking in on work at the least and doing a bit sometimes.

Something always feels wrong about this.

I like what I do, don't mind doing it on holidays too.
Never went to a holiday without a laptop and never went 24h without making sure everything's OK. At least not that I remember.

I have an agency, so you can say I'm my own employee but I serve other businesses.

I'm a nomad so yeah, I do have to work during my travels, if I'll stop I won't have money to pay for traveling
