Amazon when is this gonna happen?

You know how we got same day shipping and next day shipping.

Well.

How about DRONES?

Use delivery drivers only during storms and bad weather.

Next hour shipping.

Has my one remaining brain cell been fried or is this a genius level idea?

Imagine your package being yeeted out of a delivery drone and smashing through your living room window.

Now that's worth a prime membership.

Pros.

Ultra fast delivery
Robust
Less human error

Cons.

Can't launch when stormy
Kid with a slingshot
Pylons

Whats so dangerous about Texas that they won't allow such delivery?
There are a lot of people with guns in Texas. I was just imagining people shooting down the drones to get the packages lol.

I do not have a negative opinion toward Texans, but this idea made me think about a Bugs Bunny cartoon with bullets flying everywhere 😄

That would be fun just imagine the best revenge they would take is shooting down each other's parcels 😁

The solution is simple.

Shields.

Similar to Star Trek:

If something hits the shield then the drone is authorised to fly back to base or alternatively "neutralise the target".

We could also cold pitch through drones but that would be something like you said hitting the window

Just buy my product lol
Well on the bright side.

Our sales letter will have a 100% open rate.

Ring has being hacked many times if they did have drone system could imagine same thing happening often or people would shot them to steal the stuff or something similar would happen to steal then be made illegal.

You can already depending on where you live get same day delivery I heard from a few people if you live near Amazon delivery area you can get the product same day or sometimes within the hours you bought the products often if in storage at the delivery area.

Amazon is currently testing and expanding its drone delivery service, Prime Air, in a few locations. In the US, drone deliveries are available in College Station, Texas, and the West Valley of the Phoenix, Arizona metro area. In the UK, Darlington is the first location for Prime Air drone deliveries.

Really wish this was a Friday thread I could get behind it more when drinking.

Target practice 101 😁

Okay, fellas..
If you miss the package, don't miss the drone.

That's nothing.
Imagine the IDF's response to these drones over Israel.
