[Journey] A content site in an AI proof niche

The stats seem to be moving in the right direction. Well done.

This is a good journey so far! Nice work!

Two weeks since the last update.

I published 9 new articles on the website and 32 new pins on Pinterest. Currently sitting at 79 published articles and 656 pins as of June 12, 2026.

Everything is flowing nicely. Numbers are rising, pages are indexing.

The next two weeks I will be working on some seasonal articles. The niche has a few juicy "summer" keywords that I want to cover as soon as possible (hopefully it's not already too late).

Here are some stats:

GSC as of March 4 - June 12.

GA4 as of March 4 - June 12. (we had our first 1k+ pageviews day)

Pinterest seems to be losing steam. But that's fair, I uploaded only 32 new pins over the last two weeks. Will fix this.

Monthly traffic doubling goal for June (16k pageviews) is almost met and it's not even 20th of the month. And the goal for July (32k pageviews) which I thought is going to be the first challenge isn't looking like it anymore. We are already hitting daily amounts enough for a monthly 32k and it's not even July yet. So, August's 64k goal is the current challenge.
  • March - 2k pageviews ✔️
  • April - 4k pageviews ✔️
  • May - 8k pageviews ✔️
  • June - 16k pageviews
  • July - 32k pageviews
  • August - 64k pageviews
  • September - 128k pageviews
  • October - 256k pageviews
  • November - 512k pageviews
  • December - 1m+ pageviews
Also, I am pretty sure we're going to easily cross 25k pageviews this month and the Raptive door opens. Not sure if I should apply now though. Really don't wanna risk UX over potential $300-$400. But as usual, we'll see how it goes.

Have a great week you all. Cheers.

It's been 15 days since the last update.

I published 20 new articles on the website and 78 new pins on Pinterest. Currently sitting at 99 published articles and 734 pins as of July 1, 2026.

Almost 100 articles published. The size is starting to slightly overwhelm. Been forgetting to interlink some of the parts of a cluster, to add a custom meta description to a new article, to monitor every single published article and make changes if they don't perform as expected. Need more work here.

I covered the seasonal "summer" articles that I talked about in the previous update. Did a cluster of 5 articles. All indexed and driving some clicks but are still in the sandbox.

But the overall stats have been healthy:

GSC as of March 4 - June 30. (had our first 10k+ impressions day and a 300+ clicks day)

The traffic goal for June (16k pageviews) and July (32k pageviews) are both hit. So the site just needs to not decline in July to count it as a win.

August's 64k pageviews goal still presents a challenge but is evidently achievable with some effort. September's 128k goal is going to be the next boss level.

June ended with 32k pageviews and I applied to Raptive. Couldn't wait to see what RPM can my traffic make. I am still worried about the quality of my traffic and that all this effort may not pay off. My niche isn't among high paying niches.

Any RPM below $10 would be a disaster. $10-$15 would be sad but manageable. $15-$20 would be good and motivate me to work harder. Anything above $20 would mean a dream come true. Guess we'll see in the coming few days.

Will update when I hear back from them. Cheers.

Raptive said no. They gave no reason why the site was declined either. I guess we have found the reason why all of my competitors are with Mediavine. Raptive seems to not like this niche.

I applied to Mediavine yesterday. Hopefully they won't take 2 months to review my site like people on Reddit said.
