Anyone else here a seller or run an ecom?

How is your July going?

At the moment for us it's heading up to be our worst July ever! (on the retail side B2C)

Half way through the month our:

Sales are down 21.38%
Orders are up 9.25%
Order value is down a massive 28.21%

Used to this month being quiet but this July is the worst ever, I think its a combination of weather we had 9-11 days of really good weather 5 of which was 26c-32c+ I know food sales (BBQ) and BBQ related products are up as a result.

But this month is shit.

Trade & Wholesale are steady. If anything trade is up this month but that's sort of normal as we introduce new products ready for autumn and winter.

People will prefer to sunbathe than garden I guess mate, August will be the same if it's hot. You'll bounce back from this, once it gets cooler.


From my perspective the bar has never been busier, we sold out of everything almost last Sunday. Forecast is even hotter this weekend, between 40c and 45c, depending on which forecast you look at.
