  • Someone reacting to your content generates karma dependent on the reaction type.
    • (y) =5
    • 😁 =10
    • 😂 = 15
    • = 10
    • = 1
    • ❤️ = 15
    • = 5
    • 😮 = 10
    • 🔥 = 15
    • 🙏 = 15
The idea is to balance the "weight" of the reaction with the "pool" of potential karma.

High Reward = High Variance: Reactions that can give a lot of karma have a wider RNG range.

Low Reward = Low Variance: Common or "negative" reactions have a smaller, more predictable RNG.
Idea

:sick:0-1Lol
By widening the pool for the high-value reactions, it prevents "karma inflation" from being too linear. You might get lucky with a 15, or you might just get a 1.
Also, this avoid people to just only always use the "high value" reactions and really just use what they want to use.
It adds a bit of rng gamification to the forum experience instead of being static.

Okay, I tested it using @All For One on myself. It was a little more complex to add in that I originally thought. I had to make some adjustments to prevent someone from gaming the reaction system to farm Karma, but the main thing is that the variances to Karma work without breaking the event negation system, so this has been added in now.

By the way, I used your table in the Karma site guide. Yes, I credited you for it. ;)

Thank you everyone who voted on this.
