Resolved Longer text tags

Ran into this problem a few times where I can't enter a tag because the text is too long.

For the email post I created I wanted to add "email marketing software" but it got refused. I get not wanting someone to do "aksjbdfjbjksdbjkdfbjkbfjkgbsdfjkgbsdfjkg" or whatever but having a confined number of letters to describe something comes back to mess up the search function later?

I remember this being from a setting when I was setting up OO.

I’ll see what it’s at and make it a little longer because I remember setting it to something ridiculously short.

Okay, I increased the maximum character count for tags from 20 to 30.

20 was definitely too low, but as you pointed out, we don't want any ridiculously long tags in threads. When you consider tags like "search engine optimisation", you wouldn't have even been able to use that one before because it was too long. However, with the increased limit, now you can.

Also, this didn't need 7 upvotes since it was never anything I properly set up on the forum, anyway.
