Haha I actually wrote on his insta post earlier "Not a hope in hell, 99% of Ireland hates you and someone needs to explain to you that the president of Ireland has zero power, you've been hanging out in the oval office with Trump too much"... I mean I doubt he'll see it, but it made me feel a bit better lol
The man has lost his marbles, most of the people in the comments on his posts are from the USA and don't realise the Irish president is just a figure head, kind of similar to the King in England, zero power to do or change anything.
He's on a mission to repair his image after the multiple scandels the past few years. He needs to lay off the nose candy and vanish, attention seeking clown at this stage.
He's also off his head if he thinks he will get enough TDs to support his campaign, which he needs in order to actually run... he was talking a few weeks back about trying to get the law changed, even had a poll/petition on his socials which got barely any signatures in terms of the audience he has.
I was a massive fan back in the day when he was on the come up... I think most people were, I even had his mum re-share content marketing articles we wrote on SerpLogic about him... we'd use topics that were hot at the time and put a marketing spin on them, the one we did on him went viral at the time. Now he's just a muppet in my opinion.
I don't understand this:
How is rape a civil matter and not a criminal one?
I found a bunch of articles about the civil case and none about any criminal one..
There wasn't enough evidence to charge him in a criminal court, so the girl took him to civil court which is basically a "who do we like the most" type of jury... obviously they gave her the nod and she was awarded some money, no criminal convictions for him just a few 100k to pay out. To be fair the holes in her story are sketchy, I watched the civil case play out and she ain't no angel... there is a reason the police didn't take it to the criminal court too.
