Oh look they’re at it again.

7% of its workforce this time. They’re at least offering a buyout package as if that means anything when people are struggling to get jobs lmao.

Silicon Valley has a job-security problem. The tech sector has ramped-up voluntary layoffs since Google's Platforms & Devices buyout in January 2025. For the first time, Microsoft appears poised to board the train of tech companies offering buyout packages to employees.

The company is offering about 8,750 people — 7% of its workforce — a buyout package. Those eligible can accept the package and leave the company, says CNBC coverage (1). What's in the offer won't be public until May 7.

Yeah, calling it “voluntary” doesn’t really soften the blow when the job market’s already rough and people feel pushed out anyway.

back in 2017-2019 there were studies made by banks and other institutions and also comments from Gates himself.Studies said after 5 years when AI and industry 4.0 will be implemented there will be arround 35% unemployment.
10 Years later arround 80-85% unemployment.
It will high probably have multiple catalysators during 2027-2029

Damn, it keeps going from bad to worse everywhere, I saw Facebook also has another big round of firing people, not sure where all these people will go, even the freelancer sites are overcrowded with coders

nowhere......
only 15% of workforce will be needed to run the society. The rest will be occupied.
There are currently many agendas being implemented and like i said already so many times that you can only escape it if you will have enough money to live from capital gains from it or when living in undeveloped countries which needs to catch up.

However at the same time knowing that 85% of people will be unemployed in western societies and needs occupation and the agendas it also opens doors to position yourself early.
It amazes me noone talks about these niches

Personally, at some of these companies, I think "AI" is an excuse to cut people to maintain or lower overheads, as personally I think a recession is looming and what better way than to blame AI, stoke the "it's taking your job" fear and use that as the reason to bin a bunch of people.

I was talking to the a professional builder the other day I know quite well who said a lot of these people jumping ship from computer tech and IT to trade work don't realise all is not what it seems. And they have no idea what they're getting in to.

No idea what the future will bring at this point.

high stagflation which is way way worse than recession as it makes the population very quickly poor.
It has a reason why the billionaires are hording cash
And you are correct there is an agenda behind it.The stagflation is men made

No idea what the future will bring at this point.
Read agenda 2050 including industry 4.0

Bro, I don't want to go to India lol. Yeah, I like Sri Lanka being a tropical island. Palm trees and tax havens are up my drift, what can I say. That was within my budget, unlike Mauritius or Seychelles.
