First Select an SMS marketing platform that suits your needs and budget.

Features to Consider: Look for features like:

Bulk sending: Ability to send messages to multiple recipients.

Automation: Ability to set up automated messages and campaigns.

Reporting and analytics: Tools to track campaign performance.

Integration: Ability to integrate with other marketing tools.

Examples of SMS Marketing Platforms: ClickSend, Twilio, Sinch, Mailchimp, etc.

Keep it Short and Sweet: SMS messages are limited to 160 characters, so make every word count.

Also, I suggest you to watch beginners Guide on YouTube

Great addition from @back2form

Just one more in regards to SMS. Make sure you actually have the authorization to use these numbers to market your business to them. SMS can be very lucrative but can also be very dangerous if you do not have the right to send them an SMS. Fees can go up to 1500$ per SMS if you do it willful. So 10 SMS can already cause you a fine of 15000$ if you do not have the authorization to use these numbers. Especially with SMS, it's better to be safe than sorry.

With the amount of SMS spam I get on my phone each day, these guys must be tanking those fees or something.

Agree,
but some people, media companies still use these SMS spam like 50k, 150k + more for increased customer engagement, reach large audience , more revenue , etc..

I assume most people do not report it. But after all its very risky and also one of the reasons why a lot of affiliate networks do not allow SMS traffic to begin with.
