Resolved Notifications show in OG Yellow

As I'm sure you all noticed, but I couldn't find any threads about it.

Using a color from the OO pallette is great, but having notifications in red is very much engrained into out minds. Can we go back to red?

I was trying out a few different colours today

I tried blue earlier, but it didn't stand out enough.

Yellow sort of works, but I notice that I miss alerts and messages more.

I can go back to red, but I want to do a sexy passion red or something.

Just bear with me, one more change. If passion red doesn't work, then we can go back to the default fire truck red.

Wait, hold on, I made it passion red, but I just realised I might be able to make it glow with CSS.

I know I shouldn't be doing this on the live site, but I'm just trying to enjoy that a bit longer before we have to start using test sites and test themes.

That #d55d5e red seems like a good compromise.

Yes, I noticed that colour change.. and read zwielicht post in change log..

The alert badge colour was changed to gold from red since the red didn't really go with the rest of our forum. I tried blue since we have some buttons that are blue here, but it didn't really stand out much.

We made it white on the top by accident.

What do you think of it now? We used the red and pink colour from the complimentary colours site @Spy sent us to make a gradient button.

Red and pink isn't Nice..

The pink and red one looks like it's easier to read on the light theme than it is on the dark theme.

Okay, we went back to basic red, but there is a slight gradient between the default fire truck red and a slightly lighter red. We mostly just want to make it look a little more three dimensional.

It sort of still has hot rod colours, it's just not very noticeable on the dark theme.

However, if you go to the light theme, it's a lot more obvious.
