Under Consideration Option for some type of threads that don't increase the post count and reaction score

This suggestion is under consideration for the future.

What I had in mind is a PPC news thread. Having a separate thread for every single item is spammy AF and doesn't really serve the community, but those who are interested can surely enjoy following this sort of threads.

I assume that busy days can have 6-7 back to back posts, which is my reasoning for disabling the post count, learning from other forums' proxy sections.

How about we just don't post dead proxies on a daily basis
some of us still have ptsd

Some threads for Crypto prices too? would be nice

I think I know of a way to work with this.

There’s a thread type we can enable in some sections called “articles”. I can see if I can make it so threads and posts in articles don’t count toward post count, but I need to make sure that’s possible to do right now.

I’ll look into it today. Great suggestion!

Okay, so I can't do this for thread type.

What I can do though is set it so that some usergroups can always edit their own content in specific subforums. I'd rather this be limited to prevent abuse, maybe to Sapphire Members and above?

What do you think about this? If we did go this route, we'd have to determine which subforums to allow this in.

I think that this became a lot more complex that I had in mind. Not sure it's worth it.
