No idea, I'm a user of this app.
They sell but load of hardware and have a lot of users. Don't think this is laziness but a matter of compatibility or an oversight. Maybe didn't test the version on my device.. not really sure.

Just badly written part of an app. There are many developers working at the same app and the quality of development differs from place to place in every app. Yesterday I had so many problems with logging in to facebook because some kid coded it badly.
