The First Tax Office in Częstochowa has put up for auction bitcoins that came from the confiscation to the State Treasury. This is an unusual opportunity for investors and cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Such a procedure is rare in Polish tax offices, which have only sold virtual currency a few times so far.

The amount put up for sale is 1.22666363 BTC, stored on a Ledger Nano S hardware wallet. According to the exchange rate on the valuation date, the value of this cryptocurrency exceeded PLN 482,000.
