Resolved Potential privacy issue with one of the Trophies

Given the last surge in interest in birthdays, I got myself thinking about this, and I'm not sure all the issues I'm raising are actually happening but I'm convince one of them does.

The "Happy, Happy Birthday To You! Squeak Squeak!" trophy is triggered on users' birthday whether or not their birth date is visible (not 100% sure, but it's based on what I saw).

Even if it isn't true, users that received the award when their DOB was public will still have it after they decided to hide it, and the date they received their trophy would show their DOB.

I removed the birthday trophy. This was a good one to spot, @roydan.

By the way, Xenforo let's you give out some trophies for some very odd things. For instance, you can have a trophy to users who do or do not have 2-factor enabled... Can you imagine just broadcasting this information on someone's profile? This one is not a trophy here for that reason.

Here are some other questionable ones:

• For having a bounced email.
• For having a rejected or disabled accounts.
• For being banned; we have this one briefly just to see if it works, and it didn't seem to at all.

The date you received a trophy is visible, and there's an award that is triggered on your birthday

Personally, I really don't mind people knowing with which 0.27% of the population I share my DOB with so I put my real one.

... I forgot I added that in when I was testing the trophies feature when we first set up the forum. I'm sorry, I did not realise it was still there. That one has been removed, I'm just glad I kept it vague.

I need to go through the trophies again to make sure there aren't any more test trophies or questionable ones. Let me know if you see any other odd ones.

Honestly, this was a really good one to point out. When we set up the forum, we tested the trophy and star feature by having a bunch of really easy trophies to get, like one for being an admin and another for being just being registered on the forum (not to be confused with the trophy everyone gets for joining).

By the way, I gave you the "Beta Tester" trophy. We'll remove that one at some point as they're meant to be automatically earnable and not manually awarded like that one, but you can have it for now as a thanks.

We're trying something out with that. It's still a new feature here, but right now, you can purchase the hot rod badge (which you already have) on the account upgrades page. If you already have the badge, you won't see the purchase option, though.

I'll see what else we can add in at a later point.
