I was on the phone with a longtime friend of mine the other day.
This friend of mine is a good lady who always going the extra mile to help everyone.
Her ex-husband on the other hand isn't so great of a guy. The divorce itself could not have been for a better reason but I won't share her story without her permission.
Going back to it, she called me in disbelief that despite everything he did to her and even several other women he's married and divorced since then, the guy spends his days posting words of advice and wisdom on Facebook and other social media.
He gets likes and people cheering him on but they're not aware of how bad he's been to others.
It got me thinking that there must be so many people out there like this, trying to make themselves look great. Being artificial.
I don't consider myself a bucket of wisdom but if I had to say anything from what I've learned over the years, I'd say that if you see someone posting stories about how good of a family man they are, they definitely aren't.
Practice what you preach.
