I wonder is Reddit good for freelancing?
Is it a good traffic source for consistent clients or it's just something to have on the side?

I wouldn’t count on Reddit as a consistent source of clients.

I got a few potential clients from Reddit, but most of them were tire kickers.

The bigger thing I realized later is that if someone hires you through Reddit, there’s a good chance they’ll also go back to Reddit to question every suggestion you make.

Then they’ll get a buttload of answers from other service providers, and some of them obviously have an interest in making the current provider look bad so they can maybe get the gig instead.

Good for traffic but not to get good/long term clients.

Reddit in general is very anti capitalism so probably not a good idea for clients if you want to maintain your sanity.

I mean r/antiwork exists. Smh.
