You know what would be cool but probably not feasible.

Referral tracking.

I've got 2 people who I referred from somewhere and have absolutely no idea which social site they came from.

Would be a cool feature.

Sort of like affiliate tracking but for referrals.

I (maybe wrongly) assume it's because @UnusualSubstance want's to find out what channels or similar are working for him in terms of promoting this place where his/her efforts should go.


Personally I don't think it's needed.

That would be extremely helpful. Especially when you’re sharing on multiple platforms, it’s hard to know what’s working.

I suspect you can get code installed which can do it.

I think appsumo may have sold something which did that before.

One thing you can do is make the request to the add-on developer.
