AI News Sam Altman admits AI is killing the labor-capital balance

i had so many useless responses to this

we can only do what we can do, everyone's going mad over everything because of ai

i think the interviewing processes are gonna get a lot less techy and a lot more booky/writey

and everyones going to have something to blame

definitely my 6th attempt

Every tech CEO right now: not my problem 😂

Just on a sidenote, he said yesterday he want's AI to become a utility, like water and electricity. If that's any indication which direction he wants things to go in.

I thought ai would be a job killer as I've used it for it. More time passes.. I don't think it will be.

Universal basic income (ubi) utopia it won't be. It won't be allowed.

I think it will be a utility or a tool just like Microsoft Word is. If anything it will probably kill off software like that.

As time goes on. I see AI as this generation oz layer problem and cf sprays and close the fridge door.

I largely agree with this. Any Robotic system worth it's salt will be proprietary. Jobs which require even basic physical effort and dexterity are safe. Even jobs where there is considerable legal obligation to explain how and why decisions are reached are safe because everyone seems to forget that at this time it not possible to interprate how and why deep learning and neural networks reach their decisions.

Change is the only constant so just upskill yourself and not worry about AI or other next big thing

There are plenty of opportunities out there so stop worrying 😁
