Open Letter to Samsung: End Forced Israeli-Founded Bloatware Installations in the WANA Region

In recent months, we have received numerous reports from users across West Asia and North Africa (WANA) expressing alarm over a little-known but deeply intrusive bloatware application—AppCloud—pre-installed on Samsung’s A and M series smartphones. Without users’ knowledge or consent, this bloatware collects sensitive personal data, cannot be removed without compromising device security, and offers no clear information about its privacy practices.

I'm 99% sure this was on wife's Samsung Galaxy phone and when I couldn't remove it without root access and doing some digging online is when we dumped them as a phone / handset.

I know everything listens and that but some companies take it to a whole new level.

I used to work for a company owned by IS when the whole Babylon fiasco happened. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Not sure what the fact that they're Israeli has anything to do with it, but generally speaking, removing any software developed by them would probably be a great idea.

Complete Samsung package is just trash bloatware
like look at the new OneUI update a week or so ago
literally just copied iPhone notification pulldown but done 10000% worse
so annoyed my Samsung updated, shoulda just pressed no when it prompted
