"Saudi Arabia has been blocking or delaying financial transfers from banks in the kingdom to accounts based in the United Arab Emirates, raising concerns among businesses that friction between the Gulf powerhouses is spilling over into trade. Multiple people told the FT that payments from Saudi entities to the UAE accounts of companies and individuals based in Dubai had since May either been returned or delayed by the kingdom’s central bank, without any clear explanation."

I know these are arab countries, so not big on freedom, but apparently you can't even use your bank account the way you want, they outcompeted EU (that is plagued with constant card blocks).
