My sibling told me they want to buy brand new iPhone 16e because of an impulse. I asked for 1 rational reason - NONE was given.

Of course a big part of this is going to be to target high school kids pressuring their parents in to buying this so they don't get left behind. Fashion is a strange thing. I imagine if I walked around with one of those strung to my arm in school, i'd never hear the end of 'hobo jokes

I remember reading a thread in 2023 on the other forum where some mods there were fanboying over this kind of shit. It can look ugly but what matters to Apple is people like those mods buy it because it's Apple.
