Microsoft Advertising Soon: LinkedIn would be available as a placement inside the Microsoft Advertising interface

This is quite huge, actually.
My Bing rep just told me that, as it wasn't announced yet and is still in the early stages of Beta, so, ya know - not really available to the public yet.

This is, by the way, in addition to some of the LinkedIn targeting capabilities that are already available (for all) inside the Bing Ads (sorry, Microsoft Advertising) interface.

It's currently available to US advertisers only, but will soon roll out to Europe and the rest of the world. That being said, the client needs to have US billing address, not the agency, so those of you who serve big US clients can probably get it, too.

I am yet to come across someone who has made ads work for LinkedIn

I see your point, but once they are running through Bing, they'll probably use Bing's conversion data and algos, which are a lot better than LinkedIn's.
