I've been thinking about writing this the last few days.

I know some of you have mentioned to me that you've been concerned about the recent negativity on the forum.

@LuxRiches was one of the earliest members to say that we should focus on growing this into a positive place, and I've always agreed with this sentiment.

I know many of us feel burnt by other forums or other people. I know there were some recent events across the community that caused this uptick. Believe me, I understand why it was so upsetting. I know this even brought up old feelings many of us still have. I don't want to dismiss anyone's feelings because that's not right, although at the same time, I don't want Office Outlaw to be seen as a hater forum.

I feel like as a community, we need to consciously steer things in a direction we’re proud of and remind ourselves of why we’re here in the first place. If we want Office Outlaw to stand apart from other forums and grow into something different, then it’s up to us to set that tone as leaders of this community.

I'm very proud of where we've taken this so far, so let's just keep building something positive where we help each other grow.

Thanks for the reminder Z. It was easy to get carried away for a second finally speaking to people that could relate to it all on one place but obviously not at the expense of the hard work you guys have put in to this and the fresh start we all needed. Peace and Positivity (and hustlin) from now on 😎

I understand that. I knew many of us couldn’t speak our minds for a long time, and being able to finally do that just meant the floodgates were opened. It is easy to get carried away when that happens.
