This is insane

Companies always take so much pride at how much money they raise, as if raising money isn't just a fancy term for "buttload of obligations"

This makes anthropic one of the fastest-growing technology companies in history

Or just part of the giant bubble waiting to pop

The fact they raised $1billion at the start of the year based on run-rate revenue is madness in it's self and then to continue raising off of previous raises just shows where all this is going.

Right??
I'm glad I'm not the only one this seems off to..

Offcourse but aren't they all in loss?

Once this thing AI thingy gets settled we will see in a few years what happens

Yeah but I think last time I checked Anthropic is on course to turnover $2B end of 2025 I think they make $115m a month if not a bit more, if I remember.

Note that's turn over, turnover vanity profit is sansity.

So raising money based on revenue is nuts. If they not making money all they doing is fudging the turnover over, cashing out stocks (if applicable) and it will all fall down.

When this AI thing does pop it will be worse than the .com bubble
