But isn't that all way behind the rest of Asia?
I mean the US late to the hypersonic dinner party as well as automation.
China has had a bit of a PR stunt on dark factories you seen them 4000 looms or something running 24/7
USA & The West is WAY behind.
You mean they outsource to Asian countries or what?
They outsource yes.
But in terms of innovation with the examples provided in the tweet I think the USA is behind.
These kind of tweets you need to take with some "salt" as I call it. It's a time when economy is down, unemployment is high, there are global tensions it's just classic "aren't we great" kind of postering.
Don't get me wrong USA invests in some good things and comes up with some interesting projects but it's mainly tech focused I think and even that gap between USA & China is closing.
Personally technology wise a shift is coming and I think the West will no longer be the lead. I don't think we have for some time, mainly due to lack of investment.
The Chinese are good at copying but let's see
China desert transformation, I don't think anyone is doing that? It's certainly innovating when I last looked into it, In terms of what they doing and how they doing it.
