So just found out wife's school been told to close tomorrow and Thursday due to heat and now also had texts from children schools that they will be off school for them days also as UK is going to have 40c+ days.

Guess it's nothing but no air con here, our buildings designed to keep warm and water out so little air movement.

Anyone else struggling or in Europe with higher than "normal" heat?

All I know is I gained 3 extra employees for 2 days (bonus)

Update:

The heat and schools closing means my cleaner is unable to do the second shift of the week.

Anyone know which way around you use a duster?

If I use it back to front or upside down does it create dust instead of removing it?

You start by holding the broom, sweep a few times and your wife will take it off your hands, don't worry.

I close windows on purpose when it's 30c outside. Free sauna at home. Today for example.

I don't like temperatures at typical sauna. Been there one time, felt like I couldn't breath!

Im sweating my balls off right now.
Lol no floor fans??

You in a power outage risk area?

We got shit infrastructure anyway but now I'm thinking with everyone home and if it's that hot with all the fans on etc

There might actually be power cuts. I'm just making sure all power banks are fully charged.

Cut them off and marinate them.

Approve. Make sure you YouTube it as well
